Who we are

We are a bespoke learning design business with projects both large and small. We have significant experience managing diverse stakeholder groups to keep projects on track and producing reportable results. We develop pilot programs and refresh existing programs to improve results.

Flipside Learning believes in the power of impactful learning to the success of the organisation. We create content and strategies that make learning memorable, applicable, and which meets the needs of the audience and of the project sponsors.

Who we are not

We don't have a catalog of courses that are plug and play. While this may seem the fastest path to 'checking the box' on your learning, it often doesn't lead to tangible business results.

And although we create multilingual courses and programs, we are not a course translation service. Corporate translation is incredibly personalized and often contains elements of branded language and company values - we know how important it is to deliver training that hits the mark on all fronts.

Leadership

Eddy Sword, Managing Partner

A known learning advocate with 20+ years in learning design, Eddy has worked with organisations big and small to help them achieve their learning and business objectives. With an eye for technology-enabled and hybrid learning, backed by an understanding of learning theory and best practices, Eddy leads Flipside Learning to deliver success for UK and EU clients.

I have participated in C-suite and board meetings to communicate (successfully argue) a business case for training budget. I've been an external partner managing diverse stakeholder groups to co-create a solution.

I've also been a learner who has skipped through and ignored boring eLearning. And I've been a line manager who's seen mistakes made or safety compromised when an employee didn't see, know or do the right thing at a critical moment because they didn't have the training.
These experiences combined with my education in adult learning and technology has given me a unique and targeted perspective.
